I want to set up a standalone internet security camera running off of a broadband connection in my second home.
I was wondering what equipment would I need to do this?
Would I also need an always on broadband (cable) or could I get away with leaving an adsl connection always connected?

Thanks for your help!
By standalone I mean without a pc! Thanks!
